Chapters
Name the parts of a video, so anyone watching can go straight to one.
What it is
A chapter names a part of the video: Warm-up, The lift, What to change. Whoever watches, your client or anyone with the link, gets a list of the chapters beside the play button and a notch on the bar where each begins. A download shows each title for a moment as its part begins. A chapter is pinned to its moment of footage, so it moves with it when you cut.
How to use it
- In Edit, move the playhead to where a part begins.
- Choose Chapter and type its title.
- Its flag sits on the ruler: tap it to rename it, or choose Start it at the playhead to move it.
- In the download, Chapter titles can be turned off.
In your coaching
Break Ben's session film into Warm-up, Main set and Cool-down, so they can jump straight to the main set.
Good to know
- Up to 30 chapters.
- A chapter on footage you cut out stays hidden until the footage is back.
